It's hard to believe that Manuela has been gone a year. She was Kiki's foster mom so there isn't a day that goes by I don't think of her. She is always in our hearts and her family in our prayers'

Remembering Manuela. She was a kind and giving person. She´s loved her family and always talked highly of them. She also loved animal´s enough to give her time to them. To help save them. We got our Wolfenstein from her and having him makes us think of her often. Thinking of her today

Manuela was so kind hearted and always said, hello. I worked with Manuela at Virginia Oncology. I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Manuela,
To me you are a warrior of cancer, and my hero.we were more than just co-workers, you was my friend.
I could always count on you to take the time to talk with me as we compared our Melanoma stories and treatments options, it helped a lot having the same Dermatologist.
I will never forget your kindness even in the last few months you was thinking of me. As much as I am sad and overwhelmed with all the feelings of losing you. I am grateful to have had you in...

Manuela and I were coworkers and she was such a very sweet and kind hearted person. She will be missed at VOA!

My deepest condolences to the family and friends that knew Manuela.

Manuela was a beautiful lady and I was lucky to call her my friend. I will miss talking to her about our homeland and our family’s. I will cherish the memories and keep her in my heart. Goodbye my friend! My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

She was my dog's foster mom. We had many conversations over the phone. I remember her occasional cards asking about Lukas. She was an angel to me.

Deepest prayers and condolences from our house to hers.

Hearing the news of Manuela's passing took my breath away. I too met her though Bald is Beautiful. She and I met on many occasions to hand off a new foster. She took each foster in her arms and held it close to let every dog know that they were safe with her. My thoughts and prayers are will her family.
