Not sure what to say?

Jo,
What a tremendous loss for you and your son, as well as for all of us who have known and worked with you both. Your husband's dedication, compassion, and passion for service and the Air Force life will live as his legacy. Memories of team accomplishment and true camaraderie linger from our days at Grissom. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I hope that your knowledge that his was a life well lived will be of comfort to you.

his friends at Grissom AFB- Chuck

Dear Mrs Drinkhahn,
I am saddened to learn of the loss of Col Drinkhahn. I served as his Services Chief during Desert Storm and I'll always remember him as one who cared about people and really took care of the troops. You're in my prayers, Ma'am...I know he will be missed.
Very respectfully,
Lt Col Rhonda Schlumpberger

My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked for Col Drinkhahn in Oman in Desert Storm and then with him through his final AF assignments. I will always remember him fondly for his warm approach with junior troops and his kind laugh and smile. He was a great officer and dedicated leader.

Jo and Matt:

Marc was a wonderful human being who always had the best interests of others at heart. He was continually focused on the future...for all concerned. I have personally benefited from his mentoring...and many people in the Air Force and private sector have as well.

Know that he's at peace. Becky joins me in prayers for your comfort at this time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God comfort the Drinkhahn family as only He can.

Our deepest sympathy. I knew and worked with Colonel Drinkhahn while running the alert facility at Grissom AFB in Indiana. I always thought very highly of the Colonel and enjoyed working with him. My wife Stephanie and I are friends of Dave and Karen Spicer here in Monroe. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families.

SMSgt (ret) Al and Stephanie King

My prayers and condolences for you,and please accept my gratitude for Col. Drinkham's service to the nation. (From a longtime KC-135 boomer.)

Mrs. Drinkhahn,
You and I have never met, we have spoken on the phone. I work at the Clerk of Court Office here in Louisville. I was the person speaking with you concerning your son. When I heard of your loss I just wanted to let you know that I was thinking of you and your son. I would not know you if you walked through the door, But I have lost dear ones in my life and I know how much it means to know someone cares. Remembering the good times will keep your husband alive in your...
