Not sure what to say?

I have good memories of talking with Marc while he gardened at the Shoquist house in Bryn Mawr. Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Cherie and Annika, I am so sorry for your loss. Both Marc and Mary were full of so much life and positivity. You were truly blessed to have had such wonderful role models in your lives. I enjoyed my lunches with Marc over the past few years and really thought of him as a good friend. I'm lucky to have been touched by his wisdom. He will be greatly missed.

Marc was an active member of the VIP Club's Information Technology committee as we have been telling the story of UNIVAC computer history in the Twin Cities. He was the key individual in transferring computer communications technology to our NATO allies. I, personally have know him since the early 60s.
He never forgot his farm beginnings in spite of world wide travel!
Cherie and Annika - you are blessed to have had such a caring father and grandfather.

Marc was my first boss at Univac. Right out of business college, he hired me as his secretary in the Antenna Coupler group. He was always a kind and respectful man and boss as well as others on his team, Ben Sweezy and Bob Brown. Great memories. RIP Marc.

Marc's birthday celebration, Feb.14, 2013

Oct.6 was my last day with Marc. We had a great time attending a DFL potluck in the Scandia area with another Grief Group friend. Marc showed us where he grew up and the country store where he worked as a youth. We shared our 4-H experiences and Marc's recent support of the 4-H Foundation. The day ended with good-bye hugs and plans to see each other before Marc took off to Phoenix to continue his writing about investing. Marc shared a lot of his life memories and wisdom with his Grief Group...

Marc always showed wonderful caring and concern for Minnesota 4-H youth. I will really miss seeing him at the
4-H Foundation's golf tournament every year and all the other times he was present to support Minnesota young people.

I am so sorry to hear that Marc has passed away. I enjoyed my lunches with him talking about the markets, economic policy, Macalester, and his family - daughter and grand daughter. He was full of life.

Cherie and Annika,
Your Dad and Grandpa meant the world to me. I am glad that he died peacefully but I wish we had 10 more years with his kind, generous spirit and humor. OX Lynnie
