Not sure what to say?

Marc and I were close friends in high school, college and into the early 80'sprior to my leaving Florida. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a character to be sure. Committed to rock and roll. I recall going to a Jethro Tull concert with him around 1978. That was his kind of music. Marc and I were roommates during his two quarters at Florida State, prior to his deciding to finish college at UF. Marc was a great friend and a good guy. I regret that we drifted apart long ago....

I knew Marc when we were Scouts together with Troop 234. His Dad was our Scoutmaster. We had some great times together as Scouts. Even back then Marc had a great sense of humor, a more dry humor (quirky is mentioned). He just had a way with words. He was also very talented with designs and drawings. When I found out years later that he had gotten a job with Winn Dixie in their advertising department, I thought it was perfect. We lost touch after he left Scouting, he was a few years older,...

I enjoyed wonderful years working with Marc in our community garden. He was also really helpful in keeping me stocked with wine corks for my projects. You were a joy to be around, Marc, and I will miss you greatly.

Marc and I were close friends for almost 40 years, keeping in touch through the lost art of letter writing, accompanied with "care packages" of items that we either collected in our travels or through our jobs (stickers, promo items, free music related magazines, albums, cassettes, CDs, etc.) - in short any item we thought the other might appreciate. Over the years we shared endless stories of home renovations/repairs/remodeling, job changes, travel, our growing collections of anything and...

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Marc was from a wonderful family. I knew his parents over 30 years. This family knew/knows respect and caring for others. That is a rare thing in these days and times.

I´ll always remember marks, witty humor, ism, and contagious smile he was such a hard worker in the community garden and he will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences. Go out to Cindy and Marc sister. We loved him too and are so sad.

I have such fond memories of the entire Sutherland family, as we shared so many enjoyable family times. We visited Busch Gardens and other places, that were free, because our families were struggling to make ends meet. Fortunately, both mothers were great cooks and the meals, that they put together were fit for a king. What a blessing to have such fabulous folks, who could make something out of nothing. That family influence turned Marc into such a wonderful productive and focused guy. ...
