Marc Weinberg.. When I was 13 years old I was in search of positive male role models in my life. I met Jim (my 2nd Dad) and his friend & roommate, Marc. Marc was certainly at the top of my male role model list. He was funny, quirky, responsible and he had a HUGE comic book collection! I'd never seen anything like it. Every Silver age book you could imagine from the Fantastic Four, X-MEN, Spider-Man, Thor, the Avengers.. etc, etc.. also, his love for the New (& original) Teen...

So sorry to learn of Marc's passing. He was a wonderful neighborhood and Temple friend growing up. Sometime in my late teens or college years Marc and another friend arranged a fake kidnap of me and drove me all around blindfolded only to drive me back home for a surprise party for me. Marc got me good! He was a very kind person. Glad that I had the opportunity to know him and be his friend. May his memory forever be a blessing. RIP. We were on a work-related outing at Lake Lanier. A bunch of us were waterskiing. It was my turn and when I fell, one of my skis came and hit me right in the nose and almost knocked me unconscious. I couldn't move. Marc jumped in the water with glasses and everything to save me. I reminded him often that he was my HERO!!! He was a great guy and will forever be my hero!!
