Not sure what to say?

I am a former student from John Grant H.S. (1963-67) Although I never had Mr. Fox as a French teacher, I still remember his presence. He always had a jolly manner about him.

I loved working with this gentleman at the Superior Council. I still cherish the portraits he took of me and the memories of his stories. To Mrs Fox and his family my sincere condolences. Errol

Michael and I were out of town and were not aware of his death. Our condolences to the extended family; he will certainly be missed.
It was a privilege to work for him at the PSBGM. He had a rollicking sense of humour and he always appreciated any work done on his behalf.

Mes plus sincères condoléances à toute la famille. Monsieur Fox était un grand homme qui a laissé ses marques dans le secteur français de la Commission scolaire protestante de Montréal. Liliane Abitbol

A wonderful person....

My deepest sympathies to the family on the passing of Mr. Fox,I remember working with him at the P.S.B.G.M. he was a very gentle man and everyone cared deeply for him.

When he was at John Grant I most remember his sense of humour, and his consideration for his students. He was one of the most popular of all the teachers we encountered,(with good reason) and we had some of the finest educators of that era working at JGHS. Jean LeGuillou, Ken McGowan, Ann MacLeish, Archie Church, Mr. Millar and others were...

I consider myself to be truly blessed having had the honour and privilege to work for Mr. Fox at the P.S.B.G.M. He was a natural leader who treated all with kindness and respect. He will be missed.

I was privileged to have been taught French by Mr. Fox at John Grant High School in the '60s. He was both inspiring and warm, but also demanded respect from students which was rightly given. He was also understood to have been a war hero in WW2, which earned him additional esteem in the eyes of students. His career led to his becoming the Director General of the PSBGM a difficult position of leadership and importance within our community. From time to time I would run into him over the passing...
