Read MoreI have such fond memories of "Aunt" Marcie and what a great friend she was to my mom, Laura Farley. I can't tell you how many times the three of us went to NYC to see a Broadway show. Lots of laughing and giggling as we traipsed up from the train station to the TKTS booth while deciding what to see that day.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marcie twice when I took her and my mom, Elaine Damon, to visit Marcie's long-time friend Laura Farley. Marcie was quick to love, to accept, and to think of others before herself. I think of her and the short, but meaningful time we spent together. One of my favorite memories is how much she enjoyed the huge cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream she drank when we went to lunch. I'll miss Marcie and her gentle, intelligent, kind soul.
