Not sure what to say?

Marcella was my supervisor, my mentor but most of all my friend. She encouraged me to become a supervisor (I'll repay her for that advice!) when I didn't think I could handle the responsibility. She was my biggest supporter and confidant during some rough times in my life -- and she could definitely make me laugh!! We had some really great times at the workshops and conferences and she kept me from getting arrested in Mexico.., but that's another story. I miss you everyday and sometimes hear...

When I first met Marcella here at OVR, I was assisting in wrapping up birth and death certificate boxes ready to be shipped to the warehouse in October 2000. I was working in Key Data unit for Preston. She noticed I was a really hard worker, and went to Debbie to tell her that she wanted me in her unit bad. I was offered the position in Super Micar/Death coding within that week. The minute I saw her I took a liking to her and the feeling was mutual. She was a very exceptional hard worker. She...

My thoughts and prayers are with the Lopez family. I really respected Marcella for her strength and toughness during her illness.
She will be missed.

Marcella was a very special person and will be greatly missed. I admired many things about Marcella, but the one thing that I was really impressed with was her positive attitude and lack of complaining. I frequently asked Marcella how she felt and she always said, "I'm just fine." I could tell that she really didn't feel fine, but she never complained. My sympathy to all of Marcella's family and friends.

Marcella, you where a good friend and boss and you will be missed. God has taken you and now you are watching over us with him. Your right hand man Kenny Williams.

A favorite song..."May God's grace fall like rain from every fingertip washing away your pain." I am so sorry for your loss, prayers for much comfort during this very heartbreaking time. Marcella was my supervisor and especially kind to me and understanding beyond measure for my circumstances that go along with being a single mom. I loved her for this and will miss her very much. I never thought I would say this about her...because we did have our moments, but she turned out to be the dearest...

Marcella was a special person and she will be missed by all who knew her. Some of the things I will remember most about her was her wonderful attitude and outlook, her willingness to help people and her wardrobe - I rarely saw her wear the same thing twice! She was an amazing person and loved by many. I will miss her dearly. My sympathy and prayers go to her family and friends.
