I am so sad that my friend has passed away. I met her at Merrill Gardens some years ago.. and we soon became the best of friends. It was such an honor and privilege to have heard the stories of her youth. We shared many laughs.. and tears. I miss her more than words can express. To the Monroe Family, I am so sorry to hear about Marcella's passing. I have known her and your Dad since I was a little girl. My mother, Frances Newman worked for them at the Coronado Inn for many years. She has Alheizmers now and cannot attend the services, but I know she would be there if she could.
