Marcella Strausbaugh

I met Marcella at the Suites at Walnut Creek. She and I shared a love of monarch butterflies. I always enjoyed spending time with Marcella. She always participated in activities and enjoyed having fun.

My favorite memory was seeing her at every softball game and cheering us on and her great laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I´m sorry for your loss.

My first memory of Marcella was meeting her on the first day of school in 10th grade at Stivers High School. My favorite memory is of her going with my husband and me when we eloped to be my maid of honor in 1954. We enjoyed many years going to Eastern Star meetings together. We cooked dinners. We worked Holiday Bazaars. The most fun were the all girl weekends at the Eastern Star conventions in various cities of Ohio. She was my best friend and the sister I never had. I will miss her....
