Marcia Baldwin

Our schooling together ended when I moved to Des Moines in my sophomore year at Coolidge in Moline. She supported my later failing effort to learn to read music to play the saxophone well. She always had a quiet self-assurance about her. She brought the joy of musical performance to literally thousands around the world. The angels choir just got a great voice.

Marcia, you will be more than missed! Dear neighbor and classmate through school, you were a most memorable friend. We bless you and your wonderful life.

Marcia was my voice teacher at Indiana University School of Music (Jacobs) So sad to hear this news. She was a very kind lady. RIP ♥

I studied voice with Marcia in the early to mid 90's at The University Of Puget Sound and PLU. A couple of times I had lessons at her home just outside of Gig Harbor, WA. Always supportive and positive. I was commuting from Portland about every two weeks. A beautiful soul! She will be missed! RIP Marcia.
