Janice, Tim and Girls. Your Mom, your grandma was always so charming and sweet at any of the joyous celebrations your family held where Gary & I were present. Her smile will also be a reminder of her love for the church and her family. Don't cry for her, for she is singing with the angels in heaven. Love The Waguespacks

beautiful family...
i am transported back in time to walnut bend & to you, a family so loving toward each other & to you willie : have a wife & husband ever addored each other as you two?...or had more fun ALL THE TIME?
truly, families are desperate for models,& in the burns households, models can be found

how many times all these years can i see the boys raciing out the door for st cecilia & jesuit carpools, jumping in...instantly filling the car with daily aromas of eggs & bacon lovingly done by their precious mom...while i drove filled with guilt over the cereal, oatmeal, toast jeff & anne-marie had been given!

marcia was devoted: willie, each cherished child, everyone in the families...the grandchildren...& the SCHOOLS...could U of H have another marcia? not likely...not soon...

my prayer for each of you is that you celebrate every day in anticipation of the next as she did & with so much love & pride & support for your families in your hearts,as she had & gave to each of you

david i'm sending jeff your mom's beautifully written obituary...he will be sad

i am ever thankful for my memories of you & jeff everyday after school on his floor settiing up hundreds(?) of army men plotting attacks on german underground installations...or re-living the civil war battles (was that the war of late yankee aggression?!!)

as i write you are gathered with so many at the rosary & i would be there if i could...& tomorrow as well.

my heart is with you
blessings & love,

I will call Jeff in Terlingua and tell him of your loss....I know he will be deeply saddened. I am scheduled to be out of town both Friday & Saturday and am unable to attend the services for your precious mother. Please know that you will be in my special prayers. I have fond memories of Mrs. Burns while growing up with her daughter, Ruth. My most recent memory and one of my favorite's is from her granddaughter's wedding. Mrs. Burns appeared nervous and asked me to make sure her lipstick was not running! Peace be with you all!

Willie, I offer you and the family my deepest regrets and sympathy for the loss of your soul mate. It won't be the same at the games without her there. I join you in mourning her loss and pray that time will not allow you to forget but to move on and honor her life with yours. You have a wealth of memories to draw on and I hope you will dwell on those to give you strength to accept her loss.
