Not sure what to say?

To Mike and Lisa. It is hard to believe that it has been fifteen years today since your mom passed. I think of her all the time and have a good chuckle remembering all the fun and zany times we had.

Dear Lisa & Mike, Your mother's passing has been a major loss in my life. To this day, I keep a picture of us on my refrig. Since our parents grew up together in Fall River, there had never been a time in my life that I didn't know her. This past Sept., she would have just turned 84. I'm constantly thinking of my closest friend. I'll never get over missing her! Love to both of you. Ann

Mike and Lisa,

I was very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing.

I always had a lot of fun with Mrs. C: when I stopped by the house looking for Mike, and whether you were or weren’t there, I’d invariably stay and talk, and laugh, with her for a while. Mrs. C. was one of the first “grown-ups” I knew that would talk to me out of an interest in what I had to say, and who was interested in what my opinion was on something. (And she’d also let me know if she knew I was...

Dear Mike, Lisa, & family:
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I was a supervisor in the SPD Records Room for two years. Your mother was extremely knowledgeable and always eager to help. She was my go-to person. Most of my years were spent in the Detective Bureau. Research in Records was routine, and again, Marcia was always there for us. Mike: I have a draft of one of your early papers on "time of death." Your mom was so proud of you. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Lisa, Michael and family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I knew your Mom for her entire career at SPD. She was a fun, thoughtful and caring person, a pleasure to be with. I know you will miss her as I did upon my retirement.
God bless you and your family. I will pray for her and you all as well.

To the Caplan Family;
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Marcia for many years and found her to be a very caring and thoughtful person who was always willing to help. She had a great sense of humor and we had many good laughs together. She was very proud of her children and all of their accomplishments. She will truly be missed. Our deepest sympathy.

The memorial service was very touching. Mike shared thoughts of his mother and also played the piano. This picture of Marcia was taken during the holidays last year. She was sitting with Mike while he played the piano. She was so happy to hear him play. She kept saying "that's my son!".

To the Family of Marcia; I had the pleasure of working with Marcia at Police Hq in the records room. From the first day I met her we became friends. She loved to talk of her children and grands. A great conversationalist we had many great long talks. Of all the civilians at the PD I got along with Marcia the best. May she rest in peace.

Mike and Lisa,
Your Mom was so proud of both of you. Don't have to tell you what a warm, wonderful woman she was. She touched our hearts with her love and humor. She was a treasure, and will never be forgotten. We are so sorry for your loss.
