Not sure what to say?

Dan and I often talk about Marcia and Harry and our fun times at Fripp Island together. We appreciated their friendship and marveled at their humility and interesting conversations. We know they are resting in peace and love for each other and their families.

Dear Mona, Peggy and Kit - I learned just today (4/4/24) of your mother's passing. It was a blessing that I found her at Bethany last fall and took her out to lunch. We had a wonderful time together. As you may recall, I was your neighbor during our childhood at the farm above Cumberland Valley HS. You lived in the ranch style house whereas I and family lived in the farmhouse. You all have done so well and I am proud to hear of that. I send you my condolences for your (and my) loss.

Our deep appreciation for all your sweet and very kind messages about Mom. Thank you so much.

Remembering Marcia with great love, as a friend to my mother and father, and a constant in my life. My heartfelt condolences to Mona, Kit, Peggy and the rest of the family. With love, Linda Littell

Just learned of the deaths of both Marcia and Harry. Devastated. They were such special people in my life and I´ll always remember my part in their romance. Deepest sympathy and love to your entire family. Patti Mathews Webb

Dear Peggy, We truly thought your dynamic mother, Marcia, would outlast us all. She was an inspiration to all us Canadians who had the honour of being in her presence at Fripp Island. She introduced me to the Beaufort Film Festival and we attended together for hours at a time. I was tired, Marcia was ready to go for a beverage. She spoke of her families with pride and caring. What an accomplished woman. She will be missed by all who touched her warm heart. Dan and I send you our...

When I think of Marcia I think of a woman of great wit, charm, & intellect. She was a champion of all women, and a creative pragmatic problem solver. When she entered the room, you knew instantly you were in the presence of beauty both inside & out and remarkable grace. She was my friend.

A lovely, gracious and very talented lady. Always willing to lend a hand when and where needed. She gave freely from her heart. She will be missed by many.

Marcia was a very special lady. She was always cheerful and willing to help. When she was a mere 96 she took the office of VP for the PEO group. She will always remain in our hearts as a one of a kind!
