Not sure what to say?

I returned from vacation & just heard the sad news. I remember being in a training Marcie taught on breastfeeding when I worked with families at Knox County Health Department. Since I do not have children, I was constantly seeking breastfeeding knowledge to be able to pass on to my clients. She got me so excited about breastfeeding & the natural benefits. I still use the energy & knowledge she shared with me to benefit babies. She will continue to make a difference through those she inspired...

Marcie was a great mentor and inspiration to a lot of us, as well as to the community. She will be missed greatly. My condolences to the family and to her co-workers.

We are so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person. You and your family are in our prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our prayers.

Marcie was one of the most dedicated professionals I have known. She was tireless in her help to breastfeeding mothers and always strove to help them from the administrative side as well helping to persuade hospitals to add lactation consultants. She knew so well that breastfeeding help was needed at the very start of an infant's life. It was such a privilege to know her, she was a mentor to so many. And she was so true to herself. She will be missed on so many levels. A true hero. ...

Marcie will be greatly missed. She leaves a great legacy of work that will benefit generations of babies yet to come. She left this world changed for the better. Marcie's great knowledge of lactation always inspired me to learn ever more about this area. I knew her through ET Breastfeeding Coalition and WIC. I am thankful that I was able to be touched by her work. My condolences to her family and loved ones. I only wish I knew she'd be leaving us so soon so I could have thanked her for...

To Marcie's family,
I am very sorry that Marcie was taken from you so soon. I know your heart must be breaking. May God comfort you and keep you in his arms.
I didn't know what Marcie was going through or facing. She was a wonderful person and a great friend. She could always find a way to say things without making you feel bad. I'll continue to learn from Marcie from my memories of things she has said and done. I will miss her very much as a mentor, but most of all as a friend. She...

Honored to have her as a mentor, blessed to have her as a friend. The world has lost greatly, Heaven has gained.

My condolences to Marcie's family, I knew of her sweet spirit during my tenure at the Knox County Health Dept. She will truly be missed!
