Not sure what to say?

Hi Jan, Bill Haug here, from Cornell. I was shocked to hear of Marco's premature departure from this earth, such a great guy. He has left a terrific legacy and beautiful family. I hope you are all well. Sue sends her regards; she remembers you and Marco from a reunion...10 year, I think. So many families struck by this terrible disease: Sue lost her brother at a young age from brain cancer, and my brother-in-law lost his bro way too soon from pancreatic cancer. Sue and I are planning a...

Jan, I know it's ,been quite a while since Marco passed, but you may still remember me. I met Marco freshman year, we were on the same floor, and remained friends throughout college. We both ended up in the Boston area after that and remained friends for the eight years I spent in Massachusetts. I was saddened to find this, but hope you and the children are doing well now.

Riera family, I didn't know Marco well, but I served on a committee with him at Sun over the past five years. He was such a positive force during our meetings. He was passionate about his work and the team that he led. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to all of you. Heather Bender, former HR Director at Sun Microsystems

Jan and family- Inger and I are very saddened to receive the news of Marco's passing. I was on the "Genie" (Pagewriter) digital ECG product development project with Marco back in the late 70's, and I've always had a warm spot in my heart for Marco. He was truely a brilliant, enthusiastic and humorous person, which I will remember for a long time.

I did not know Marco well, but had the pleasure of working with Katie for the past year at Duke. Katie would frequently tell the best stories about her family vacations and her Dad coaching her sports teams growing up. I'm sure Marco was very proud of Katie. Family was obviously very important, and I'm glad to have the privilege of getting to know his daughter and him through her stories.

Cam and Riera Family,
I don't know if you remember me but I played outfield with Cam for part of the summer of 2008 with Medfield Legion. I'm so sorry for your loss and please accept my deepest condolences.

Cam:
I enjoyed watching Legion games with your Dad for two years. He knew every stat, including pitches thrown, swings taken, etc. You were a great role model for Jake and your Dad was always your and the team's biggest fan.
He'll be watching you play still - just not next to the fence anymore.
Our sympathies to you and your family

Dear Cam and Family,
The Medfield American Legion family was shocked and saddened by the news of your Dad's battle and life lost to cancer. We were truly blessed by his ever so supportive presence in the few years we shared together. He loved you and urging you and your teammates to compete at higher levels. His attention to the details of the game of baseball was superb and only exceeded by his distinguished vocal enthusiasm! Our heartfelt sympathies for your family's great loss....

Janet, Katie, Cam and Family,

Words cannot tell you how sorry we are to hear this tragic news. Marco, Pelayo and our families were so close while they lived in Macon, GA... Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you now and always.
