I played baseball for Coach Rodriguez during my sophomore year at Weber High School in the spring of 1992. He was a wonderful coach, loved and respected by his team, and he brought together a fairly rag-tag group and turned us into a formidable baseball team. I was fortunate to have known and played for Coach. I will keep him and his family in my prayers

Dear Nancy and Family,
. Your Oregon State family is shocked and saddened by the loss of Tony. Tony was such a good man and father and so likable to everyone he met. We are blessed to have spent some time with your wonderful family.
Nothing I can say will help to heal your hearts, but know that in time...the memory of Tony will bring a smile to your face before it brings a tear to your eyes.

Coach Tony was my coach at Weber HS in Chicago. We had a great team and he was one of the best coaches I have ever known. What a fantastic guy. Know that he affected the lives of many Weber Red Horde graduates who had the honor to play ball for him. He had a legendary voice and I will miss him.
