Marcus Allen Dixon Jr., 24, died Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Sikeston, Mo.


 


He was born on July 10, 1994 in Sikeston, Mo. the son of Laurie Mitchell (Demetrius Murray), and Marcus Allen Dixon Sr.  He was a 2013 graduate of Cape Central H.S. in Cape Girardeau, Mo and was employed by DeWitt Company in Sikeston.


 


In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Kayden Allen Dixon and Na'Quavious Allen and his fiance Dionne Allen.  Other survivors include four sisters; Ashley Mitchell of Decatur, Ga., Tyeshia Mitchell fo Sikeston, Demetria Murray of Charleston, Mo and Matisha Dixon of Memphis, Tn.  Three brothers, DeParis Townsend of Charleston, Mo. and Keondre Dixon and Tyrik Dixon, both from Memphis, Tn.


 


His surviving grandparents are; Rev. Ronald (Murlee) Pulley of Sikeston and Christine Murray, Herbert Merriweather and Florence Dixon.  Cherishing his memory will also be a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.


 


He was preceded in death by great-grandparents; Louis Van Montjoy Sr.,  Johnnie Mae Mitchell and Allen Dixon and uncle Louis V. MOntjoy Jr.


 


Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Green Memorial COGIC, 113 Clayton Ave. Sikeston, Mo.  Visitation will begin at 12 noon until time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston, Mo.
