Marcus Joseph Downs, 26, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, an employee of Chappy Electric of Chelsea, Massachusetts, died suddenly on Sunday, October 22, 2000. A wake is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Mulry Home for Funerals, 2 King Street (at 1700 Dorchester Avenue and across from St. Mark's Church), Dorchester. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 9:15 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Mark's Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Mattapan, Massachusetts.

It had been almost a month with out
