Craig, sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I know when I lost my mom, I realized how fortunate and blessed I was to have someone like that in my life. Your friend and classmate.

Polly and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy. I wish I could have arranged to be there today to share this in person. Mr. Marcus will be missed. I know you're proud of the legacy he has left behind but know that he also left behind a large empty place in your hearts as well.
I know he has been honored today and I hope you've found much comfort and peace in those around you.

One the very best Trial Judges I ever had the pleasure of trying cases before. More that that, he was a fine man and an excellent example of what a man truly should be.

Marcus was not only a good person. He was family. My father, Gordon Watkins held him in high regards. His wife, Zpolly was my high school counselor and allowed me to attend nigh classes at Merian Jr Collegevmy senior year in high school to take classes relating to my degree. I had to have her permission. My heart goes out to Craig, Brian and Teresa. I know how sad it is and how much it hurts to loose parents you look up to and love. Life is never the same. I just have to keep reminding myself...
