Not sure what to say?

Thank you Marcus, for being such a loving, caring and the best brother ever! When mom and I went to see you I'm so glad I had the chance to tell you I love you not knowing it would be the last time we would see you.
Joe wants you to know that the 49er football games will never be the same. You will forever be in our hearts and our prayers. We miss you very much.

Love, your sister and brother in-law

We lived right accross the street, played outdoor games on summer evenings, heard Mrs. Ortiz singing, her beautiful voice echoing thru the neighborhood, the tamales, the pool, the fireworks, the giddy sense of humor Mr. Ortiz shared with us. Your family will always be a part of me, and I am grateful to have known Mr. Ortiz. I...

Mr. Ortiz was a kind and warm hearted person that always made me feel at home... As a kid growing up nextdoor to the Ortiz's, there could be no one more gracious. I have fond memories of summertimes at the pool and winters with tamales at Christmas. Memories of loading up the BMX bikes in the van and Mr. Ortiz taking us to race... toughing out a Niners playoff game with Lou and Mr O. out in the rain... All great memories and a tribute to Mr. Ortiz's giving nature and zest for...

We lived across the street from the Ortiz family for many years. Our children grew up together and we were sorry when you moved away. We will always remember your Fourth of July fireworks display.

We are both very saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Ortiz and are thinking of your family at this difficult time.

God bless you all

To the Ortiz Family, I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Ortiz's illness and passing. I remember him as a wonderful neighbor and father to the Ortiz kids. He always had a smile and a joke for us kids in the neighborhood. I am so sorry for your loss.
