Missed you my cousin!

Marcus, you were a strict, protective neighbor that showed me love and concern when i needed it as a child. I do remember things you said to me that has kept my path clear, contributed to my character as the lady I am today. Knowing how private you have always been.... my heart is hurt yet peaceful because I know you are looking down with that beautiful smile of yours and no longer in pain. You have serviced this country well in war as we prayed for your protection and safe return home daily...

I shall remember you as the sweet, kind, fun loving cousin who loved to play jokes. It's funny how so many people can remember one person in many different ways. I never met the serious, private You. But, I enjoyed the person I knew. I'm happy you are out if pain and in a much better place. You are so missed, but memories are intact. Take care until we meet again, the man with the golden eyes and the ready smile.

How do I prepare myself for today, your burial. We had a rough start in life but Im glad we got it together. Mom said when you were born I wanted a puppy instead. That is hard to visualize because I dont care for animals.I am so thankful that you allowed me to be in your circle at the end and I truly understood why you felt the way you felt. We were always there, just waiting for you to let us in. You were our Prodigal Son. You and Unk Buddy stay out of trouble and enjoy riding the clouds....
