Marcus P. Salazar passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2024 at the age of 75. 


Marcus is survived by his wife Pauline, sons Tony and his wife Shelly, Mark and Adrian. Grandchildren, which he loved an adored so much; Teanna, Sean Michael, Cameron and Alannah. His sister, Sally, brother-in-law Manuel Vigil, Ester and her husband Mike, Erlinda Sandoval, Lucy Tompton. Special friends Sid and Mary Taylor. Numerous members of the Valenzuela family. Several nieces and nephews also survive.


Marcus is preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Pilar, sisters Carmel, Viola, and Sadie, brothers Lorenzo and Robert, Mother-in-law Antonia Martinez and father-in-law Eddie Valenzuela.


Visitation will be Thursday August 1st from 1pm until 3pm in the chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home.\


Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on Friday August 2nd at 12:00 pm noon at St. Patrick/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, recited by Knights of Columbus, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30pm with Father Bill Woytavich as the celebrant. Rite of Committal and Interment with Military Honors will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.


Arrangements for Marcus P. Salazar are under the direction of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home.
