I knew nothing about Mr. Schneck other than the story he wrote concerning " The Twilight Zone", an investigation involving UFO's and a man named Altiman. SHOCKED when I read Mr. Schneck passed away. I know he knows the truth as a powerful person in Heaven will tell him all about a new world he's about to examine. From his...

So sorry for you loss. I never met the man, but I looked forward to reading his weekly Outdoor Pennsylvania. He was an interesting man and a wonderful writer who seemed to love the outdoors and all it had to offer. I am sure your memories of him will help to sustain you through this difficult time. There were so many more stories I'm sure he was planning on writing that we will never get to read. Whenever you go outside I am sure you will think of him and smile. May God comfort you in...

As an unknown author with no prior experience, I reached out to Marcus and asked that he review a book I released in 2014. He was extremely gracious and gave an entire column to our interview. A genuine professional, generous and kind to whom I will always be grateful.

Marcus brought joy and humor to many, and more facts about wildlife and our environment than most people could know in a lifetime. We only met several times, but have chatted several times over the years. I only wish that I could have spent time with him to soak up his love for his work. Writers and photographers will surely come, but they are going to have to work really hard to reach the bar that Marcus set. Rest in Peace my friend. And my most sincere condolences to his family...
