We have enjoyed Marcus's columns and online nature blogs for years. He enhanced our love of nature by teaching and sharing his appreciation for the outdoors. He will be missed. Our sincere condolences and sympathies go to his family.

Writers and photographers will surely come, but they are going to have to work really hard to reach the bar that Marcus set. Rest in Peace my friend. And my most sincere condolences to his family...
