Marcus Fitzgerald Smith was born on December 16, 1971, in Los Angeles, California to Henry C. Smith, Sr., and Shirley Smith. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers: Glenn Smith and Henry C. Smith, Jr.

Marcus leaves to cherish his precious memories, his Mother: Shirley Smith; two Sons: Vontarious Smith and Marcus Smith, Jr.; two Sisters: Tiffanie Hunter (Ronnie) and Vickie Smith; three Nephews: Jeffery Reed, Carmello Smith, and Shawntre Smith; three Nieces: Stacie Cook, Nykia Paul, and Sanaa Smith; five Aunties: Ruby Burke, Rosemary Butler (General), Marion Darby, Jacqueline Harris (Jerome), and Charlotte Mann-Munerlyn; three Uncles: Charles Mann (Beverly), Willie Fred Smith, and James Smith; a Special Friend whom he loved dearly: Velma Calhoun,  and a host of other relatives and friends.
