Marcus and I first met freshman year. We had algerbra 1 together with Ms. Bohnae. It was the first class of the day of my first day of high school. Also we had random classes together through out high school. Marcus, out of all the guys was such a gentlman. I have nothing but great things to say about your son. I will always remeber Marcus as being a caring, kind hearted, talented, respectful, smart, loving, honest, fun person. He is a person who won't be forgotten and missed greatly by the...

To the Wanza family,
I played in band with Marcus his junior and senior years of high school. He was an awesome guy. Me and him used to always play spades together and we would refuse to have any other partners other than each other. We weren't the best players, but we had fun. Marcus was a good friend and I will truly miss him.

Genise,
I just heard this evening about Marcus. I remember Marcus from back at Lockmar. You and I sometimes graded papers together and I remember what good and dedicated parents you are, and obviously why Marcus became such a wonderful young man. Seeing him grow into such a fine man was a joy for every band parent at Palm Bay High. Marcus always had a ready smile for everyone. He will missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Mr. and Mrs. Wanza,
I was Marcus' band director at Palm Bay High for about a year and a half. He was a tuba player in the symphonic band. He referred to me as Mr. K as did all of the other students. I heard about your loss and my heart and prayers go out to you. I was very fond on Marcus. He was an excellent musician. He always had a great smile on his face. He always seemed to light up a room when he walked in. I never heard an ill word from him and he kept the rest if the tubas in...

Marcus and Brad
My alarm goes off at 2:45 a.m., and I hit the silence button. That's why I set the other alarm for 3:00 when I am supposed to get up. After a minute of protesting, I get up and stumble my way into the living room where Big Rich, Neil, and Austin are sleeping. As I start to carry the poles out to the boat, they hear me, wake up, and proceed to get up and help me load the boat. A few minutes later Harper shows up, then right behind him Marcus is here and we are ready to start our adventure into...
