I received a PhD in Civil Engineering from Stevens in 2002 under his mentorship and under my great supervisor/guide, Prof. Dr. KY Billah. Prof. Prasad will remain in my heart forever, wherever I am. Very Sad to hear the news of sad demise of Shri Prasad. He was an active member of Bharatiya Vidvat Parishat too. We really miss this great Man.

Truly a loss to the entire world of knowledge, especially the 'universal indian thought'. May Bhagavan give him 'Videha mukthi' and strength to his near and dear ones to overcome the grief.

Om Sri Rama!

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the email reporting his memorial this Sunday. MG was younger to me, respectful, religious and scholarly. Twenty five years ago we were organizing the scriptural training classes in the Hindu Temple in Bridgewater and I witnessed his passion, his curiosity and his zeal in effective learning and teaching. I was amazed at his mastery with the sonority of the musical instruments, the vibrations, the echos, the resonance. He had astonishing command on the...
