Not sure what to say?

That 4th person, from Sweden was Kerstin, Margaret's cousin. She lived with them for while in America. She passed from breast cancer maybe 4 or 5 years ago. I failed to note the date. Thanks again, Carol!

I was part of 4-some that climbed Camel Back. Margaret, Ila and Margaret's cousin from Sweden (I believe) were the 'fearsome foursome that tackled the hill as part of our '50 Mile Hike'---which was 'popular at the time. Great views from the top, but we were pooped. We went down on the north side of the hill and joined another path that took us up part of the road to Bogus Basin. At some point, we called it 'good'. I don't remember who picked us up.

Thanks Carol! It means a lot to hear of you three's escapades. I was unaware that this site existed. Did you go to Camels Back Hill with Margaret.

When Maragaret and I were juniors or seniors at Capital High, we decided to create a 'float' in the 'spirit parade' before the football game with Boise High School. They were the Boise Braves and we were Capital Eagles. We decorated Margaret's Volkswagon 'bug' to look like an Eagle's head. The car's trunk was in the front---a good place for the eagle's beak. The rest of the car was decorated like the eagle's head, using the side windows for a fierce pair of eyes. We made a manakin tht looked...

Mom fought hard.

I was both surprised and saddened to hear of Margaret's passing. I know she put up a valiant fight against her disease. Margaret, Ila Cockrum and I were 'the Three Musketeers' from Grade 5 to High School and beyond, playing games on the playground, riding horses when we could, talking about horses at other times and sharing stories of what we were doing as we became adults. I will certainly remember all of those good times.
