Peggy and I were friends on the verge of adulthood in high school. Although we then lost contact through many decades, I cherish our reconnection through FB over the last few years of her life. Rest In Peace in our Lord's arms, dear M- (old HS nickname which doesn't warrant repeating).)

Oh Meg and family, I am sorry for your loss however happy that she had a blessed life. As a Margaret that goes by Peggy. Peggy is the funny one. I miss my Mother Margaret everyday, however I know she found your mom in heaven and is watching over us with her! hugs, Peggy Ann

I'm so grateful to have had Peggy in my life, initially as a colleague, then later as a personal friend and the only person I ever felt comfortable asking to critique my fiction. I always found her warm, funny, crisply intelligent, generous and so engaged in life. A bright light. I will miss her. Wishing all Peggy's family and friends comfort.
