Read MoreMy Mom (Margaret Karle Schak) and Sr. Peggy were lifelong friends. Rosemary Gelshenen was also so close with Sr. Peggy. They all grew up together in Rutherford NJ and went to St. Mary's schools. The three of them were known as "the 3 Muskateers". They were friends throughout their lives, even into their 90s. Sister Margaret taught me at St. John the Apostle School in the mid-1960's. I remember her as a smart, kind, dedicated teacher. She loved what she did and she loved her students and it showed.
What a gift to live as long as she did. May she Rest In Peace with the God she so diligently served.

Sister Margaret Virginia taught me in the 7th grade at St. Aeden, Jersey City. She was wonderful! I always remembered her with fond thoughts.
