Not sure what to say?

While glancing through obituaries from WMU, I saw Margaret's name, and it rang a bell with me. She was one year behind me at State High. I remember her as an outgoing, bright, and friendly person. I haven't seen her since high school but am glad to read of her full and eventful life that benefitted so many.

Miss Borton changed my life. Although I had great instruction of cooking and sewing from my childhood, she appreciated that and helped me hone those skills. She presented me with the Betty Crocker award in 9th. Grade, which I still have to this day. She was there at my parents funeral. So sorry I had to miss hers.

I never met Miss Borton, but having read her obituary and tributes, I wish I had known her! I feel this loss as strongly as if I HAD been her friend. She sounds like a kindred spirit, someone whose company I would have relished. My heart goes out to all whose lives she touched, for surely they feel her loss keenly. With love and respect, may she rest in peace.

I am really going to miss our weekly visits! I feel like I lost a member of my family. She was fun, kind, generous and a joy to be around! I am heart broken. RIP, my friend, till we meet again.

What an AMAZING woman we lost! I am heart broken. There will never be another Margaret Borton!! She was so thoughtful, generous, and FUN! I feel like I lost part of my family. She was one in a million. I am REALLY going to miss our weekly hair appointments. RIP, dear Margaret, until we meet again.

Miss Borton was my teacher and home room at Milwood Jr. High. She was so patient and nice. A very good teacher. I still have the apron we made.

Miss Borton was my teacher at Milwood Junior High. Later in life, when I had children of my own, I would frequently see her on Saturday mornings shopping at the Cork Lane mall. She always remembered me. She was a kind and gentle lady.

Mrs. Borton was one of the sweetest, kindest teachers. I had her for English at Hillside. Always have remembered her! So sorry for your loss.

You will be missed! You were my teacher in junior high school, I still make those chocolate drop cookies every Christmas that I learned in your class! We at June´s beauty boutique had the opportunity to see you weekly for sometime. God bless you from June and the staff from the beauty boutique
