Margaret "Peggy" Carrier

I'm one of the RNs who covered for her when she was off. She was a remarkable and caring nurse' who ALWAYS come in at the last minute if the hospital was short of staff for the midnight shift. That's hard to do if you haven't slept in preparation for your shift. It also helped that she lived right across the street from the hospital

I believe that Peggy worked many years at Rome Hospital with my mom Beverly Kalk. Mom was an RN and I seem to remember her and your dad´s name along with Pete and Mary Suplie (?) and Joe and Pat Christopher. I am greatly sorry for your loss!

I worked with "Peg", she was always available to come in to work at the last minute when someone else had called in sick. This was on the midnight shift at the Rome Hospital. She never complained about other RN's or any patients.

I am so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. Such a beautiful obituary to her and how she loved life and her children. I have so many fond memories of Peggy. I was one of those neighborhood kids that she always took in. Hanging out at the house watching tv, playing games, playing the piano, or going to the park. I even remember her taking us grocery shopping sometimes and we would drive her crazy. I don't know how she put up with us neighborhood kids all the time, but she did with love. I...
