Margaret was an amazing person. Many times I had the opportunity to visit with her on her radio show "Looking Around". She was always a gracious host and even though she was the one doing the interviewing, I was always entertained and impressed by her. She was so intelligent and genuine. I am saddened to read of Mrs. Cooper's passing. I grew up knowing the Coopers at WOSM, where my father, Joe worked. She was a very special "southern" lady.

This is a rejoicing, not sadness! Mom longed EVERYDAY to be reunited with her husband, Charles, who passed at home nearly 7 years ago. Myself, along with all my brothers, promised her that she could also remain at home until Dad came to retrieve her - and be there without pain. This is exactly what happened - as she passed peacefully overnight at home while she slept - pain free. Let us Celebrate her life!
