Margaret "Joan" Craven

I sang with Joan in the Audubon Bon Bons Alumni chorus for a few years. She was serious about pronunciation but was silly/funny when you would never expect it. It was an honor to blend voices with her. A privilege to know her.

I recall the many times that Joan and her husband Ralph and I would go to the Rescue Mission in Atlantic City to minister to the people there in Chapel . She would share simple stories along the way that would make us laugh and relax. She was a beautiful , christian lady.

Mrs Craven, or Miss Haines, as I remember her, was my 2nd grade teacher at Greenfields Elementary School. I recall she was very strict, but I learned a lot that year in her classroom. RIP Miss Haines.
