I´m very sorry for your loss and hope that your lifetime of memories become a source of comfort and joy in the future. Debra DeRoche

We just learned of the sad news of Margaret's passing today. We had the great honor and pleasure of knowing Margaret as part of our extended family as a Trombley family member. She was an exceptional woman, before her time - in fact. So many warm and loving memories of her come to mind. She was so kind and generous and always had a bright, genuine smile to greet you. We were out of the country since the end of December and just returned, Cheryl (our sister) told us this morning of Margaret's...

Sending my heartfelt condolences. This is a beautiful tribute to your mom and her positive impact on others. Your mom's "positive outlook and unmatched optimism," and "her gifts of fierce strength, wisdom and confidence" are carried forward in her children and grandchildren. She knew how much you all loved her, and you made her life special and joyous. The influence of strong moms carries forward into next the generations, and that's her lasting gift to you all.

I wanted to learn to sew when my youngest daughter went to first grade 22 years ago. Margaret was my sewing teacher in Bloomfield and we developed a dear friendship. Margaret taught me how to sew and even helped me make drapes for my home and at my church hall that needed stage curtains. We had many happy lunches, coffees, tea at her kitchen table, and visits over the years. She was such a caring, supportive person and came to my daughters´ dance recitals and graduation party. She was...

Our deepest condolences to Deirdre, Eileen and your family and community. I knew your mom through Mary's countless recollections and stories of her and your family, and then, from our phone calls and emails. She was truly an angel on earth; I always marveled at her listening skills despite her hearing loss - she was so astute. Her value system - empathy, generosity, integrity and wit were true models one should aspire to follow. She was so kind to me; it meant a lot. I have been...

My heart is heavy as I read this sad news. My husband and I were lucky to meet Margaret when we all took golf lessons at Wintonberry. From that moment we became life long friends. We moved to Texas 16 years ago but when visiting CT a drop in to Margaret was on the list. She was welcoming, loving, caring and a lovely conversationalist. I will cherish the scarf and hat she knotted for me. I wish I had more time with her but will treasure the time I had.

Margaret was one of those marvelous people that everyone would be lucky and blessed to have met. She was truly one of a kind. I was one of the lucky ones. My relationship with Margaret goes back way too many years to count. I would occasionally drop in to see her at home and before your butt hit the chair you were holding a cup of tea and a biscuit. Margaret, thanks for allowing me to be a small part of your life for all these years. I know you will continue to look after all your...
