Not just a film critic but Marge found film to be a passion. Marge was the assistant manager and film booker at the storied Bijou theater in the early days of the Radisson. When the Bijou closed its doors in 1988, she was one of the founding board members of the newly emerging Kalamazoo Film Society. On the board, Marge enjoyed booking films for us in the early days. We moved to First St., Plainwell in 1975 and my wife Sue became good friends with our new neighbor Marge, sharing their interests in horses and nature. I heard many good stories about Marge from Sue. Those were the good old days. Marge had a life well lived.
