MARGARET K. EICHHORST

Margaret K. Eichhorst 79, of DeKalb died Monday Oct. 5, 2009, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 28, 1929, in Downers Grove, Ill. She was the daughter of Charles and Sophie (Wojtowicz) Urbanski.
Margaret married Glen O. Eichhorst on June 24, 1950, in Downers Grove, where she was a loving homemaker and enjoyed working as a cashier at the local grocery store for several years. She enjoyed collecting bells, Campbell Soup Kids Collections and coins.
Survivors include: one daughter, Linda Eichhorst of DeKalb; one son, Larry (Debbie) Eichhorst of Tyngsborough, Mass.; four grandchildren, Steven Tomanek, Kristen (fiancé Joseph Ulmer) Tomanek, Alex Eichhorst and Matthew Eichhorst; one sister, Marion Wetzel of Naperville, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, husband Glen, sisters Dorothy and Helen and one brother, Charles.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday Oct. 7, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb with Father Kenneth Anderson officiating. Burial will be held on Wednesday Oct. 7, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Claredon Hills Cemetery in Darien, Ill. Visitation will be held on Tuesday Oct. 6, from 4-7 p.m. at the Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home.
