MARGARET ELLIOTT

Marge was like a 2nd Mom to me. She worked with me at our family owned restaurant "Cliff's Dixie Cream" from 1962 til 1971. We worked side by side & she was so precious to me. I moved from Mo. in 1975, but I came back a few times a year & would always visit Marge. I saw her last year & knew she was failing, however she never complained about anything. 3 other friends Judy Bott's -Cully & Vickey Spicer-Thompson & Diane Baird also worked with Marge. Margaret was one of the most talented and kindest women I have known. We worked together for years at church, we loved decorating, both cake decorators, and put together some wonderful banquets. The dolls she made were amazing and it was so fun to bring them to the Mother-daughter banquets. We both sew, but her clothes, her drapes, she could make anything. Margaret was a friend for many years through our church attendance together. We shared a lot of things in common as well as cake decorating. I was just at her home for a visit a little over a month ago. So sorry to hear of her passing. She had a long and wonderful life. Such a talented woman and great friend. May you find comfort in the knowledge that she is in Heaven no.
