Our lives touch so many in ways that sometimes we do not realize. I did not know Margaret, but I do know her daughter, Marla. Margaret introduced Marla to ballet at a very early age. Dancing her whole life, Marla now dances at the Chicago Ballet Center where I am her teacher. It is a delight to have Marla dancing here . .and that is only because Margaret set the wheels in motion. Thank you, Margaret. Now I get to dance with Marla because of you!

Dear Marla, It was my pleasure to get to know, Maggie as our neighbor. She was a kind, thoughtful, very strong lady. She had a good sense of humor. When least expected she would have a cute comment that would give a good chuckle. I enjoyed hearing stories about her Greek/ Italian parents and heritage. Cousin Marla, Aunt Margaret will always be remembered as a true Beauty inside and out, as shown by her strength and love for her family. You have been an exceptional daughter in the way that you cared for her and through your words in this loving tribute. It has been a privilege to be her niece and I will always cherish our memories.
