Margaret "Mugsy" Gallagher was born April 16, 1933 in Red Oak, Iowa the daughter of Harry Lee Gallagher and Lula Myrtle (Ulrich) Gallagher. Her parents preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Jessie Lynn "Corky" Clark and Clarence Songer, two sons, Micheal Clark and Carl Clark; siblings, Betty Pinney, Bonnie Chamberlain, Pat Marsoni, Tiny DoSontos, Micheal Gallagher, Jimmy Gallagher and Harry Gallagher, Jr. Mugsy was a circus performer, performing for Kelly Miller, Ringling Bros., Carson & Barnes and Barnam & Baily. Her performances included Tetter Board act, web, ladder, elephants act, and balancing troupe. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to garage sales. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: children, Ila Wall of Soper, Jessie Kirkpatrick of Tool, TX, Thomas "Tiger" Songer of Flagstaff, AZ and Margaret Huskins of Powderly, TX; three sisters, Perky Garrison of Tracy, CA, Kaye Willison of Paris, TX and Sally Snow of Brasstown, N.C.; eleven grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.
