Not sure what to say?

I just found out today Marge had passed. I had the pleasure of cleaning her (and Jim's) home in Wilmington, and years have passed since I last saw her. I am amazed to read what an even more phenomenal woman she was than I even knew her to be (I thought she was pretty impressive), and have fond memories of sharing laughs over Lula the lab (I think that is the correct name, or Lola) retrieving the newspaper after I arrived in the morning. Jim, thank you for having me in your home for those...

I just read Margaret's obituary in todays Washington Post. What an extraordinary life with so many impressive achievements! May she Rest In Peace.

I worked for Margaret at Girls inc during the tumultuous years of the forced name change. Margaret was charismatic and she inspired us all to face the huge task we had and provided us guidance to succeed.

It was a gift in my life to have known and worked with Margaret. As a National Board member I was privileged to serve under her inspirational leadership. I also remember her as filled with humor and passion.

Truly sorry to hear of Margarets passing. It was my priviledge to work with her at Girls Incorporated. Her legal expertise and visionary leadership were instrumental in Girls Incorporated adopting its Mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold. I am ever grateful for the opportunity to have known her.

My deepest condolences to you and the family, Jim. Margaret was a wonderful, wise, spunky and witty mentor
and role model to so many of us at Girls Inc. I treasure the memory of my last meeting with her and with you over lunch in Wilmington all those years ago.
In sympathy,
Isabel

Wow - what an amazing, inspiration she was to us all - I don't and didn't personally know her but I read her obituary and WOW - she did all that she could do while she could - she LIVED her purpose and because of this other lives have been enriched - thanks Margaret for not living by fear but by purpose - I am currently the Executive Assistant to President and CEO of Girls Inc. My condolences to the family.

Incredible lady. How did she find the time to accomplish so much? Dr. Leutze, your caretaking of her over the last few years is to be admired by all.

So sorry to hear of her passing...
Marge was an extraordinary woman, and we were privileged to have met her and called her our friend. Our deepest sympathies to Jim and family.
