Margaret Gourley was my grandmother and the closest person to me for many, many years. She was a graduate of Burdette Teacher's College in 1920 and the valedictorian of her high school class in Lowell, MA. Her family came from Ireland and ran a store in Lowell for many years. Margaret had one son and four grandchildren. She moved to Wellesley in the early 1960s and enjoyed many memories there.
