Jane,

You and your Mother were always important household names around our home.

Mother was careful to put "Marg's" name in her "special book" of treasured friends' phone numbers, when she could hardly write any more.

Since my sweet Mother’s passing two years ago I have come to realize much more clearly that the reality of Heaven is just as much a matter of our basic Christian faith as our belief in the existence of God and Christ.

If we say we believe in...

My heartfelt sympathy to you in the loss of a wonderful Mother. She was a very special person, and I will miss visiting with her at FUMC. I treasure the conversations we had and sharing recipes...my favorite - hers (and your) Vegetable Soup recipe...I will always think of you two together every time I make it...and I do make it often. Our memories of "Mommy" Hamner will always be in our hearts as we go through life and beyond. Our "roads" in life crossed "online" and continued into a wonderful meeting of both mother and daughter.
