Not sure what to say?

Just to be near her was to experience joy. Her smile was a radient welcome every time we walked into church.

God's blessings to you, my teacher, Mrs. Hamra.

I worked with Betsy as a fellow teacher back in the late 70´s. I remembered Betsy because she was so so sweet and always smiling. I´m so sorry for your loss. Cathy Schlichtemier Adams

Betsy hosted a baby shower at her home for me after I had a miscarriage the previous year. Her thoughtfulness to me and my family was always there. She was a dear friend and colleague. Thank you Betsy for your friendship.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Betsy´s death and will always treasure our shared laughter and travels, literate conversations and boundless curiosities. From the moment we met in Copenhagen in 2016, it was a connected friendship. I am so grateful for visits in La Jolla and letters afterward. Betsy was a refreshing, challenging original. A beautiful life force. My heartfelt sympathy to Susan, Colin, Nicolas and all the Hamra family. God Bless.

Betsy was one of my Mom´s best friends. They both grew up in Naylor. Betsy may have been from a small town but she had a big heart. She will be missed.

I've been blessed to have Betsy as a dear friend for over fifty years. I am better for knowing her. I miss her.

Ms. Hamra was one of my teachers at PCH. I'll always remember her kindness and warmth.

Betsy taught one of my sons at Parkway and I knew her through my activities at the school. I admired her very much.
