Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry...I met Margaret (and Robert) when they came to Shreveport to buy a puppy from me. My Rottweiler (the dad) had sired a litter of beautiful puppies, and I had the pick of the litter to sell. Margaret fell in love with the puppy, and I thought she was so sweet, and would give him a good home, I ended up giving her the puppy. She wrote me a few times after than, telling me how wonderful the dog was and how much they loved "Studley", I think was the name they gave him...I thought of...

Dear Harling Family, I too just came across on your loss of Margaret. my heart goes out to you all. let me say I never saw Steel Magnolias... after over 30 odd years of not doing community theater..on a whim three weeks ago I auditoned for Steel Magnolias and was honored with the role of M'Lynn (we are still up in the air for a full cast but am honored just the same)learning this is a biography I do pray I will do Margaret's memory justice.

God Bless

I recently found out about the loss of such a wonderful and devoted mother, wife, and friend. My prayers go out to her family, and for this courageous, loving woman. God Bless.

Mr Harling, Bobby, John and family. I am sorry to hear about your loss. You are all in my prayers and thoughts. I did not realize that Margaret had died until I was researching some of the Faulkner-Harling lines from Edgefield. Again, you all are in my prayers.

I'm so sad. I just now saw that she had died. She was in the same ward as my dad before he died. I just loved watching how excited she would get when her husband would come. They were like 2 teenagers...

Dear Bob, Robert and family: My sincere sympathy on the passing of Margaret...a lovely woman I got to meet when I was doing Steel Magnolias in Monroe,LA. She and Bob spent time with us sharing stories about the family and we will alwyas cherish the gracious and beautiful lady she was. We were honored to tell her story. I know she gave many years of service to your community for which many people will always be grateful as she lives on in our hearts.

Dear Harling Family: I had the chance to meet Margaret (and Bob) when we visited the family homw. I was fortunate enough to be directing Steel Magnolias in Monroe, Louisiana and they were gracious enough to spend time with us and then come see the production. She was a lovely and charming woman who contributed so much to her community. She will be missed but leaves a wonderful legacy of love and service.

Bobby and family,
I am so very sorry for the loss of you mom and I am thinking of you during this time of great loss. May you find comfort in your memories of her. Fondly, Nancy Makar
