I am sorry I had to leave the funeral early today. I was paged twice and had to leave to place a child in an emergency because of allegations of abuse and neglect.
Ms. Harris and I 'go way back'. I was responsible for placement of J. I. who was an infant when he came into her home. She was a remarkable foster parent and was one of the most nurturing adults I ever have known... she was very loving and if I could make more parents like her I would. I don't need to speak for her. Her own...
