The older I get, the more I miss Peg! Her wit and practical thinking were so helpful to me! My thoughts are with her family who must miss her terribly. She truly loved and cherished each of you.

I am blessed to have known Peg in Troy, New York, where she lived at the Eddy apartments and attended First United Presbyterian Church. It was convenient for me to give her a ride on Sunday mornings -- and we often enjoyed Sunday lunch together after church. She truly was a "CLASS ACT" with wonderful, soft-spoken insights into church, politics and life! Although it was heartbreaking to watch her "fade away" -- her grace in difficulty was inspirational! But I know she is happier...

Peg Hilbert and her husband Chick were an intergral part of what is known as the Clemens Center. Chick was the Keeney, the Elmira Theater's original House Manager, and was my mentor. Chick and Peg were the original usher staff that opened the Clemens Center, Chick was my mentor and teacher. Chick and Peg were a "CLASS ACT". And now they are together again, playing to a full "HOUSE".

Our deepest sympathies to Dick and Donna and their family and to Eddie. We remember Aunt Peg as she always was, a kind, caring, soft-spoken, intelligent, gracious lady. She certainly deserved a long life. I saw Aunt Peg off and on over a span of fifty years, and I was impressed with her quiet, gentle force, focused always on loving others. Chris Hilbert, on behalf of himself and on behalf of his morher Evelyn Lorraine (Larry) Hilbert, his wife Claudia and their sons William and Mark
