Not sure what to say?

Amazing woman. Taught and guided my career. She made a difference in so many lives. Certainly a huge difference in my life.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Peg's family and friends. Though I didn't know much about her swimming, I know that it meant the world to her. It was right up there with sam, lady and sassy! That is where I cam in to play. I had the pleasure of getting to know her heart for others, whether they had two legs or four. I do know I was so happy to see that they honored her in the Hall of Fame. I have been missing Peg for the last few years, but was glad to know she was with family! She...

Peg has a special warm spot in our hearts not only for her incredible sharing of talents, love, and encouragement, but for the diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease that both she and my husband courageously battled for several years. She was an inspiration to my swim team, myself, and my husband. We will love and remember her always.

As previously stated, Peg was a much inspiration to all who she met and knew. I met Peg when I was 9 years old and was accepted in as the youngest member on the Octopi Synchronized Swim team...1979...Swimming on that team, Peg took us to places we never thought we could go. She coached hard and disciplined hard. She had everyone's respect and admiration. Peg will be truly missed, my thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Peg was a true inspiration to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed, but often remembered by the little things she taught us all.

My deepest sympathies to Peg's family. I have known Peg since 1979 when I met her in Richmond for a synchro meet. She was always coaching and cheering on a swimmer no matter what team they swam for. She made herself available to anyone for help and was always smiling and pushing the girls to do their best. One of my swimmers from Japan later joined the Octopi and Peg took her on to Nationals. She was a remarkable person and loved the sport. I am sure that she is coaching with all the...

I first met Peg at Lynchburg College in the early 70s where she coached the college synchro club prior to moving to Richmond. I'll always remember her Indian Heritage routine she swam at W&M for the International Aquatic Arts Festival-truly an inspiration.

Little did I know she would enter my life again when I went to a Masters meet she hosted in Richmond in the early 80s! Over the years I appreciated the assistance she provided the D.C. Synchromasters. Her positive attitude and...

I best remember Peg as one of THE most creative people in synchro and as a young coach in the mid-'80s, she always had time to make suggestions and observations that were heartfelt and geniune ... She brought that same generosity to the masters program and was such an inspiration ... May God bless her and her family ... Lorraine Valerino, Lakeland YMCA Flamingo Synchro, Lakeland, Florida

I wish to extend my sympathy to Doris, Peg’s sister, her family and to all Peg’s dear friends, especially Laura Rich Soles, her duet partner.

I met Peg in October of 1980 when she hosted the US National Masters Championships at Crenshaw Pool, University of Richmond.

I have been blessed with Peg's friendship, coaching, talent, wisdom, enthusiasm and inspiration for 25 years.

Thank you Peg, for all the special memories that will continue to live in my heart.
