Pegge didn't suffer fools easily, but once you gained her respect, you had friend like no other. We both had the good fortune to know her - Paul through working with David at Amherst College and Arden through working at GCC and seeing first hand her devotion to her work with the MacLeish Collection. Our sincere condolences to David and the family on their loss. If there is a library in heaven, Pegge will have it organized in no time!
