Margaret Ann "Marge" Lawrence

We just attended Marge's Memorial.
Nice show of people.
Nice to hear of many of Marge's multifaceted life and interests.
Marge left pleasant memories for all who knew her.

For years I taught around the corner from Marge at Goleta Valley Junior High. For a few years I taught several theatre arts classes with her. The help and training she imparted allowed me to assume her job when she retired. I will always appreciate her kindness, sense of humor and love of the theatre.

We spent 18 years living next door to Marge and loved knowing her. She gave us the history of the neighborhood and many hours of interesting stories. She was loyal to her dog, horses, cats, and her home. She was a wonderful character.

My mother, Twila, was blessed to work with Marge on a number of shows when she was the vocal music teacher at GVJHS. She is 90 and living in El Dorado, KS. Very good picture of Marge. It's the way we both remember her. Our condolences on the loss of this wonderful person.

I knew Marge in the 70's when she annually brought her class to tour our Dos Pueblos High television studio.
She was a great supporter of our media programs and an active recruiter for us. She was a great spirit; I'll always remember her kindness to me.
